Anguilla Poker Run is what a Caribbean Party that has food, music great beaches and adrenaline. Participants beach hop, to five beaches where there will be events. August 10th 2019
The Poker Run kicks off at 8:30 a.m at Johnno’s beach bar with late registration. There will be breakfast on sale. After a short briefing for all captains at 9:15 a.m the first cards will be drawn.
The boats leave Sandy Ground at 10 am.
First Stop – Davidas beach bar in Crocus bay . Players will draw their second card. Events includes beer drinking competition and a slip n slide challenge.
Second Stop- Jed’s Place in Island Harbour . Players will draw their third card. There will be a Johnny Cake eating competition.
Third Stop – Scrub Island. There will not be any cards given out at this stop. There will be lots of music as the boats in the run fill the beach with their sounds.
Fourth Stop – SunShine Shak in Rendezvous bay. Players will draw their fourth card. At this stop there will be a frozen drink challenge for the ladies and a dance contest.
Fifth Stop- Blanchards Beach Shak in Meads Bay. Players will draw their final card, where there will be a team beer drinking contest, a team relay race and a powerboat exhibition.
The End of the run will be at Johnnos beach bar at Sandy Ground where we will be a best abs contest, bikini contest, fill a bucket challenge for kids and a team tug of war challenge. The winner will then be announced.
Poker Run entrance cost (hand) $200. Anyone can sign up alone or as part of a team. Players can purchase any number of hands they wish. Players can also choose to purchase the Poker Run package for $250 which includes a hand in the run, Poker Run T shirt, Poker Run Shades and bag . One breakfast token which can be used at Sandy Ground. One lunch token for a Pizza at Davidas or Lunch from Sunshine Shak or lunch from the Poker Run bar in Meads Bay. Players can also get three rum punch or fruit punch tokens which can be used at Davidas, Sunshine Shak or the Poker Run bar in Meads Bay.
Each of the competitions will be judged. You must have a hand in the run or be apart of a team with a hand in the run to enter the competitions. The team with the most points at the end of the run will be crowned Most Turnt Up Crew and receive $1000 !!!!
