Silk Road Music Festival May, 20 2023 - Silk Road Music Festival’s aim is to bring together Bajan, regional & international artists from different cultures and backgrounds under one event to create a multi-genre, socially conscious performing arts festival.

Crop Over Festival August 2- 8 2023. The island’s annual carnival, which marks the end of the sugarcane harvest with weeks of calypso singing competitions, has its grand finale in a costumed masquerade through the streets of Bridgetown known as Grand Kadooment. The day features Masquerade Bands make their way to the Mighty Grynner Highway with revelers dressed in sequin costumes decorated with colorful feathers, jewels and bright accents; dancing behind music trucks and moving bars.
38 th Barbados International Hockey Festival August 20th to 26th, 2023. Hockey has been played in Barbados since at least the 1920s, and since 1989, the Barbados Hockey Federation has been the governing body for the sport, overseeing its growth and development throughout the country. This year, in 2023, the BHF will proudly celebrate 38 consecutive years of hosting the Barbados International Hockey Festival, fondly referred to as the "Banks Festival" around the world. Played in ideal conditions under sunny blue skies and a gentle island breeze, this beloved event is a highlight of the hockey calendar.

Barbados Food and Rum Festival October 19th - 22nd 2023 - Local and international chefs collaborate to whip up culinary creations in demonstrations and tastings in the island’s renowned restaurants. Plus cocktails with Bajan rums.

Barbados Open Water Festival November 8th- 12th 2023. Started in 2013, this is now one of the largest swimming events in the Caribbean and is recognized around the world. Training and competitive swims from recreational to elite level. The Festival takes place over for five days - three days of practice swims and two days of "Races". Participants choose to swim one day or all five. Experience three open-water swimming locations in Barbados. The races are a wonderful mix of ages and abilities, serious swimmers and swimmers just there for the experience. Distances are as follows: 1.5km, 2km, 3.3km, 5km, 10km. Finisher Medals & Age Category Medals.

Run Barbados Marathon December 2023. A weekend of running events: Friday Fun Mile, Saturday 5k and 10k, and then Sunday has an early start – 5am – for full and half marathons and a 5k charity walk. Some world-class runners.
2024
Barbados Sailing Week January 13th - 22nd 2024 - The tradition of racing around Barbados dates back to the 19th century and originally revolved around determining the fastest "Trading Schooner" for the sake of bragging rights. Sailboats from various regions of the world have participated in Barbados sailing week to compete in offshore races and the Mount Gay Round Barbados Race. Over time, the organizers have incorporated additional events to enhance inclusivity, such as dinghy class races, kiteboarding, wing foiling, and remote-control boat competitions, into the Barbados Sailing Week.
